You’re not the only one in need of some cuddles during this period of social distancing. There are also many shelter animals who are in desperate need of some extra TLC and temporary homes. So, one cat-centric company is encouraging pet lovers to foster a cat during this unique time with their Foster with Smalls initiative.
Smalls, a cat food, supplies and toy online retailer, has pledged to sponsor new cat foster families with 30-days of human-grade nutrition, care and play products. Yep, they’ll provide you with all the grub, digs and thrills your new cat friend requires. This initiative will not just help shelters who have had to pivot during this health crisis, but it will also, hopefully, help connect some cats with new forever homes.
If you’re interested in temporarily (or permanently!) opening up your home to a furry friend, simply direct message Smalls on Instagram or email them at email@example.com with all the relevant paperwork and information from your local fostering center. Smalls will take it from there and hook you and your new little dude or dudette up with their wide array of products. (They aren’t able to connect you with specific cats in need, unfortunately.)
You’ve seen all the adorable quarantine-led dog adoptions on Instagram, now it’s time to help some of our feline friends out. In case you didn’t know, they’re really good at social distancing. We could all learn a few tips and tricks.
