When KitchenAid debuted this internet-breaking number early last spring, it indicated a chic departure from the all-white kitchen, and was a far cry from the pastel version that probably graced your wedding registry.
On the refrigerator front, stainless steel is out. (OK, fine. It’s not out, but it’s certainly not edgy.) The new look: black matte stainless, baby.

Move over, white subway. This fall, cool tiled surfaces are making like a tuxedo and going for a high-end, black tie look.
