The terms 'eco-friendly fashion' and 'tie-dye home decor' may once have been code for hippie dippy, but no longer. And if the growing trend of tie-dye clothing, accessories and home furnishings hasn't already convinced you of the '60s print's chicness, perhaps the new Altuzarra x Etsy collaboration will. Yes, the two earth-conscious brands have come together to produce a collection of throw pillows, vases, dog beds and more, all with an eco-friendly twist. And as you may have guessed, our favorite pieces are covered in tie dye.

While all of the Etsy pieces included in the collab have designer Joseph Altuzarra's stamp of approval, there are also pieces that were actually made using leftover fabric from some of his previous collections, like these throw pillows from TownsendRoweHome.

As it turns out, Altuzarra himself shops on Etsy regularly. “I have always loved discovering artisans on Etsy,” says Altuzarra,“and I am so excited to have had the opportunity to collaborate with some of my favorite Etsy makers from around the world on this special project.”

As for why he chose to focus on home goods as opposed to fashion or accessories (his typical M.O.), that too came from a very personal place.“The idea of being surrounded by objects and furnishings that bring you peace, joy and happiness, is so important,” he explains. “I wanted to create a collection that would bring people a sense of comfort and joy.”

Etsy has been making major efforts to completely offset its carbon emissions from shipping its goods and recently became the first major online retailer to successfully achieve just that. So if you've been in the mood to give your space a little update (or redo the whole thing), this might just be the best place to start.
