We’re all for furniture that’s also functional. Take, for instance, the Nidin, a dog-bed-slash-coffee-table.
The birch-wood structure ships flat and must be put together. But unlike other do-it-yourself products (ahem, Ikea), this contraption requires no Allen wrenches. That’s because the six pieces of unfinished wood fit together in a design inspired by origami, and it’s all held in place with bungee cords.
French firm Fabbricabois builds each piece to order (price available upon request, too). The bed is best suited for small dogs (or cats), but you can ask for a slightly bigger size when you contact them.
