The On-Demand Flower Delivery Service You Need to Know
BloomThat’s handmade bouquets arrive in 90 minutes
For far too long, we’ve been sorting through page after page of cheesy flower arrangements online, settling on the least ugly offender and shelling out a crazy surcharge for same-day delivery. Thanks to BloomThat, a start-up that delivers flowers in NYC within 90 minutes, we’ll never be stuck with an expensive, tacky bouquet again.
After browsing the bouquet options on BloomThat’s app, we settled on The Cooper ($55, plus an $8 delivery fee), a summery combo featuring roses, local snapdragons and huckleberry leaves. It was delivered right on time with a handwritten card, wrapped in a charming burlap pouch and tied with ribbon. Best of all, it’s a bouquet we’re actually proud to display at a dinner party or send to our best friend on her birthday.
Here’s the secret: Instead of offering hundreds of options, BloomThat presents a carefully curated selection of bouquets, ensuring each customer gets fresh flowers that haven’t been hanging out in a freezer all week. This keeps costs down, so BloomThat can offer bouquets for as little as $38.
For now, delivery is limited to Manhattan and parts of California, with more locations (including Brooklyn) coming soon. Until then, PureWow’s fifth birthday is coming up. Hint, hint.
