Perry Clark Home
Snip as needed.

What’s to love about buying stuff online? So easy. What’s not to love? So impersonal.
Perry Clark Home, a new e-boutique led by Chicago entrepreneur Christine Clark and her impressively pedigreed team--Sheri Salata, president of The Oprah Winfrey Network, is on the advisory board--aims to get both sides of the equation right.

The site’s most brilliant idea: commandeering the philosophy behind the farm-to-table movement and applying it to a selection of random (but totally lovely) items that rotate with the seasons. ??

Right now we want the urban garden ($54)--a pretty way to grow herbs or display cut flowers in a kitchen windowsill--and this rattan food cover ($49), which we’ll use every day come eat-on-the-porch weather. ?

Perry Clark is also our new go-to for sending gifts like gorgeous soaps or a book of life-size puppy photographs (!) to friends, since every purchase gets beautiful complimentary gift wrapping--whether it’s for you or someone else.

Oh, and remember last Thanksgiving when you realized--at carving time--that you didn’t have a serving platter nice enough for the turkey? Not this year.
