Lula Cafe
Tabletop lamp, table included.

When Lula Café first opened in pre-gentrification Logan Square, people thought it was a trek to go eat there. But they did because, well, Lula is great.

Now the storied spot is celebrating the holiday season and its own 15th anniversary with a just-launched retail website. It?s a marketplace of products made by Lula?s creative community of cooks, servers, bartenders and hostesses--aka painters, designers, poets and musicians--both past and present.

??We love the offbeat finds that seem ripe for gift giving, like this speckled goldfish print ($40), a tabletop lamp that comes with the table ($65) and a sleek wooden record crate ($37). ??

Prefer to peruse the goods in person? Stop by Lula tomorrow night from 7 to 10 for a free, bazaar-inspired event.??

Consider it a good excuse to also stick around for a dinner of sweet-potato soup, slow-roasted pork shoulder and Mississippi mud pie. ??
