The Smartest Way to Organize Spools of Ribbon

Ribbon is undoubtedly the easiest way to make a boring wrapping job look fancy. But digging around in your ribbon drawer (OK, fine, all-purpose junk drawer) is getting to be a total mess. Here’s a trick for keeping things organized:

What you need: A paper towel holder (the kind that stands upright) and Scotch tape

What you do: Stack each cardboard spool of ribbon on the paper towel holder and use a piece of tape to keep the ends in place. Swivel and pull as needed.
