Whether you have a yard, pool area, patio or deck, you can make it your favorite spot in your home with a bit of decorating know-how. Go Monochrome with a Pop of Color

Start by sticking to one color scheme for larger items--it makes designing simple. Then add color in the form of accent pieces--an umbrella, bouquet of flowers, potted plants, even an accent wall--to add flair.

Buy in Multiples

For decorative pieces, buy several pieces that are similar to one another, such as these mirrors. An assemblage gives your space a sense of unity and looks like a carefully curated collection.
