Leftover Luxuries
Casual elegance (as in this 1960s Billy Baldwin room) starts with consignment.

Tired of missing out on interior design treasures just because you can?t drop all your weekend plans to traipse off to an estate sale?

Hit up Venice?s new Leftover Luxuries pop-up, a fabulous consignment shop run by Wendi Smith, a native Californian who lives in Virginia and travels the country cherry-picking select furniture and high-end collectibles. She sells the items for 30 to 60 percent off retail (more if they don?t sell for a month), and splits the sales price with the consignees.

A few of our recent discoveries:

1. Cotton ikat yardage ($15 a yard)

2. Restoration Hardware crystal lamps ($75 for two)

3. Gilt-framed Old Masters paintings ($75)

4. Brand-new lavender-upholstered French armchair ($1,000)

You?re welcome.
