How to Eat Vegan at Disney World (It’s Actually Pretty Easy)

Disney World is the happiest place on earth, so it should come as no surprise that the vacation destination is incredibly accommodating to its guests. Are you vegan? No problem. Disney World has a ton of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options throughout the parks that were created with plant-based eaters in mind. A few more vegan tips when you’re at Disney World: Waffles can be made vegan at most of the character breakfasts, and if you tell the chef your dietary restrictions at any restaurant in Disney World, they’ll do their best to whip up something special just for you. Where To Eat Vegan At The Magic Kingdom

OK, let’s get this out of the way first: Dole. Whip. Is. Vegan. Meaning you can feast on the icy pineapple goodness for every meal of your trip and still call it a win.

Aloha Isle: Remember the Dole Whip? You can get that and a Dole Whip pineapple float here.

Be Our Guest Restaurant: For breakfast, try Le Fou Festin and a few assorted pastries (ask your server). For lunch, feast on the Cannellini Bean Cassoulet and have the Crème Brulee for dessert. For dinner, try the Roasted Corn and Spinach Tortellini, Mixed Field Greens and Vanilla Cake with Lemon Curd.

Casey’s Corner: Here, there’s a vegan Slaw Dog with your name on it.

Cinderella’s Royal Table: Order the Royal Avocado Toast for breakfast. For dinner, you get your pick of the Protein Bowl, Chickpea Panisse and Castle Salad, then Lemon Sorbet or Coffee Pots de Crème for dessert.

Columbia Harbour House: This is a great spot for lunch, just order the Lighthouse Sandwich, the Harvest Chili and ask your server which sides are vegan that day.

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café: Craving a vegan Sloppy Joe? You’re at the right place.

The Crystal Palace: This vegan-friendly spot includes Roasted Potatoes, Oatmeal and Home-style Grits, Eggless Florentine and a Granola Medley for breakfast, plus Steamed Rice with Vegetables and Herbs, Grilled Vegetables with Cauliflower Rice, Broccoli and Cauliflower with Garlic Oil, Sautéed Green Beans with onions or Garden Patch Cottage Pie for lunch or dinner, plus Coconut Panna Cotta for dessert.

The Diamond Horseshoe: Dine on the Smoked Stuffed Peppers and Harvest Beans for lunch or dinner, then order a slice of the Campfire Apple Cake for dessert.

The Friar’s Nook: There’s a vegan Brat and Tots with your name on it.

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen: You’ll be in plant-based heaven with choices including Shiriki Noodle Salad, Falls Family Falafel, Curried Vegetable Crew Stew, Perkins Thai Noodles and Panna-Connie’s Congo Lime Delight.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café: This saloon-style restaurant features a Vegetable Rice Bowl, Southwest Cheeseburger, assorted sides and a topping bar for vegan diners.

Pinocchio Village Haus: Grab a Plant-based Pizza or Pasta topped with Marinara Sauce.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor: Indulge your sweet tooth with a non-dairy frozen dessert.

The Plaza Restaurant: Breakfast can be tough when you’re vegan, but the Plaza offers a Breakfast Plate, featuring plant-based eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes. Yum. For lunch, try the Plaza Burger, have the Bangers & Mash for dinner, and have the Wedge Salad with both. Save room for the Dark Chocolate-Banana Bread Pudding with Soymilk Frozen Dessert.

Sunshine Treats Terrace: Is the FOMOsa (a float made with sparkling Apple Cider and Dole Whip Orange Soft-serve) the best-named Disney treat of all time? We think so.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant: This Italian spot offers a Garden Salad and Spaghetti and Mushroom Meatballs for lunch or dinner, plus a Raspberry Sorbet and Italian Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.

Where To Eat Vegan At Epcot

Not to be outdone, Epcot has a staggering number of vegan options at its internationally themed restaurants. Check out a few of our favorites below.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall: Try the Breakfast Platter, plus assorted fruit and bagels. For lunch and dinner, there’s Scandinavian Potato Dumplings, Bean Salad, Beet Salad, Tomato Salad and Cucumber Salad, plus Raspberry Sorbet and Non-dairy Frozen Desserts.

Where To Eat Vegan At Animal Kingdom

There’s no better place to be plant-based than in the company of our four-legged friends. Luckily, there are tons of vegan options to choose from.

Flame Tree Barbecue: Despite its meaty name, the Hot Link Smokehouse Sandwich is, surprisingly, vegan.

Harambe Market: Stop by for lunch or dinner and try the Roasted Vegetable Bowl.

Pizzafari: Grab a slice of Sicilian-Style Pizza for lunch or dinner.

Restaurantosaurus: Choose between the plant-based Spicy Southwestern Burger and the Onion Jam and “Gouda” Burger on the Family-style menu, then treat yourself to a non-dairy frozen dessert.

Satu’li Canteen: The flexible Create Your Own Bowl includes vegan ingredients, including Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu, Black Beans, Rice, Potato Hash and Charred Onion Vinaigrette.
