You can get almost anything on the fly from a food truck in this town. But that doesn’t mean that all auto cuisine is created equal. Here, we present the seven absolute best food trucks in Dallas. Start your engines.

Ruthie's Rolling Café

No matter how old we get, there’s nothing like a really, really good grilled cheese. Whether you chow down on The Boss (featuring barbecued brisket and sharp cheddar cheese) or the Italian Hippy (with chicken, mozzarella, grilled tomatoes and pesto), you really can’t go wrong. Bonus points for having a gluten-free bread option.

Easy Slider

Bite-sized burgers means we can order a few, right? That’s a good thing. Because we’re constantly torn between the Sweet & Lowdown (with bacon, goat cheese and strawberry jam)and the Nutty Pig (with bacon and peanut butter). Trust us, it’s delish.

The Butcher's Son

Yes, it’s a barbecue food truck, but here’s the secret: It’s actually known for its Johnsonville’s famous double brat featuring two beer-simmered bratwurst, sauerkraut, fresh onion and spicy mustard on a brioche bun. But shhh, more for us.

Bánh mì or killer rice bowl? Whatever you choose, definitely wash it down with a fresh basil mint lemonade.

Not on Twitter? Well, we highly recommend you join, because Coolhaus posts its daily flavors on social media. We suggest holding out for Nutella with Almonds, Fried Chicken & Waffles or the vegan chocolate sorbet.

Ssahm BBQ

Yep, gourmet Korean tacos are a thing in Dallas. First you decide whether you want duck, tofu or chicken, and then you load it up with spicy mayo, cilantro, onions and more.

Cousins Maine Lobster

Who says lobster is only for five-star restaurants? This inventive food truck is going above and beyond the typical lobster roll (which is delicious, by the way) and offering lobster tots, lobster quesadillas and traditional tails, if that’s your style. Grab a Maine Root soda and a whoopie pie to really transport yourself to the Northeast.
