Starbucks Now Has Coffee Ice Cubes (and They Will Change Your Summer)
Warmer weather means it’s now socially acceptable to drink iced coffee, like, constantly. But for as much as we adore this cold, refreshing and—most importantly—caffeinated beverage, we have one major problem with it: you have to drink it super fast, or else the ice cubes will water it down to a sad, boring version of its best self.
Luckily, Starbucks recognized our problem and answered our prayers. The solution? Coffee ice cubes (literally just cubes of frozen coffee) are now available at select locations.
In addition to preventing your drink from getting too watery, coffee cubes pack an additional caffeinated punch, which is never a bad thing. The only downsides are that for now, they’re only available at 100 stores in Baltimore and St. Louis. They’ll also add an extra 80 cents to your bill.
Coffee cubes might not be as inherently Instagrammable as unicorn frappuccinos, but from a purely functional standpoint, they’re a total game-changer.
