You splurge on Vinebox’s famous 12 Nights of Wine every holiday season. We so don’t blame you—but there are plenty of stellar wine advent calendars that you can buy this winter on the cheap, too. Exhibit A: the 12 Days of Wine Holiday Sweater Wine Collection from Sam’s Club.
The advent calendar contains a dozen California wines to share with a friend or S.O. (but we won’t tell if you drink them all yourself, obvi). Every 187-milliliter bottle has a different style to explore, from Cabernet Sauvignon to sweet Riesling to rosé. Each bottle also sports its own ugly-but-cute Christmas sweater on the label.
While the calendar is enticing on its own, the price is what really seals the deal in our book. Twelve shareable mini bottles will only cost you $37.98 (FYI, some wine advent calendars cost three times as much), so we’re thinking they won’t last on shelves for long. Check out your local Sam’s Club to get your hands on one.
And since you’ll need something to eat with all that vino, Aldi has a ton of affordable advent calendars that are filled with everything from cheese to chocolate, not to mention hard seltzer and beer calendars for those of you who don’t do wine. If that’s not a Christmas miracle, we don’t know what is.
