You'll definitely want to save this paleo sweet potato burger recipe to make on the 4th!! #HellmannsPartner They're packed with flavor, didn't take long at all to make and they're sure to be a hit with anyone 😌 These burgs are gluten free & dairy free-- but feel free to choose any toppings you'd like! I opted for lettuce, avocado and #HellmannsKetchup sweetened only with honey 🍯 The recipe has simple ingredients and the ketchup does too. Plus, it tastes amazing! (and so good with sweet potato fries 🙌🙌) Organic Turkey Burgers: 1 lb organic ground turkey (can sub for organic chicken or grass-fed beef) 1/3 cup chopped spinach or collard greens 1/2 diced bell pepper 1 tsp cumin 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 1/2 tsp red chili flakes 1 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 extra wide sweet potato Directions: Combine all ingredients, excluding sweet potato, in large bowl and mix together. Form into patties. Heat oil in a pan on medium until hot but not smoking, then place burger patties in pan and let cook about 5-8 minutes either side. Cover pan with lid to speed up cooking time. Slice sweet potato into 1/2-inch thick rounds and place on parchment paper covered baking sheet. Spray lightly with avocado oil and BROIL in the oven, center rack, high heat (525 degrees F) for about 6-8 minutes either side, or until they start to turn golden and bubble.
