Sorry to burst your bubble, margarita on the rocks, but turns out the Paloma is the true top dog when it comes to Mexican cocktails. Here’s how to mix up a batch of this delicious grapefruit-flavored drink at home.

What You Need:
 - 1 lime, halved
 - Kosher salt
 - 1 grapefruit, halved
 - 1 teaspoon sugar
 - 1½ ounces tequila
 - Ice
 - Grapefruit flavored sparkling water

Step 1: Slice one half of the lime into wedges. Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of your glass before dipping the glass in salt to coat.

Step 2: Squeeze the juice from half a grapefruit and half a lime directly into the glass. Add the sugar and stir to combine.

Step 3: Pour in the tequila before adding ice. Fill the rest of the glass up with grapefruit sparkling water and garnish with a grapefruit slice. Cheers!
