If you’re looking to add a pop of color to your kitchen, look no further than KitchenAid’s 2020 Color of the Year: Kyoto Glow.
The brand, which selects a different hue each year, just confirmed the highly anticipated “winner.” This time, KitchenAid is recognizing a feel-good color that was named after the city of Kyoto, Japan, which is famous for its gardens, temples and vibrant culture.
If you’re thinking, What exactly is Kyoto Glow? the brand describes the color as “a new vibrant, yet calming green hue,” making it a cross between lime and pale yellow.
“Kyoto Glow not only turns the kitchen into a rejuvenating sanctuary to recharge and replenish by energizing makers but also embodies an emerging global culture of self-care,” Jon Bellante, Global Marketing Director for KitchenAid, said in a statement. “The color was chosen to inspire makers around the world to nourish creativity and take part in immersive wellness in their culinary journey and beyond.”
