After two seasons of watching Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) melt over the homemade biscuits on Ted Lasso, you can finally try them—in a very unexpected way. The AppleTV+ series collaborated with Jeni's Ice Cream to create "Biscuits with the Boss," a limited-edition ice cream flavor that pays homage to the iconic cookies.

Each pint—which is designed to match Lasso's (Jason Sudeikis's) red and blue Richmond jacket—is filled with sweet cream ice cream and chunks of buttery, crumbly shortbread cookies, and they're officially being sold online and in stores (retailing for $12/pint) on March 2. After getting our hands on an early release of the flavor, we can honestly say: It's worth the hype.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams x Ted Lasso

First, there's the ridiculously smooth, not-at-all-icy texture. Jeni's is known for it's almost gelato-like creaminess, which really comes through with the sweet cream ice cream.

Second, the biscuits have a slight saltiness that elevate the flavor, so it's not cloyingly sweet. (And perhaps that was a takeaway from the original biscuits served on set, which Waddingham had famously said were "really sugary" and "sucked all of the saliva out of my face." She's since admitted the recipe had gotten much better by season two.)

Overall, the taste reminds us of fresh scones with clotted cream, only in ice cream form, making them a nice homage to the show, just in time for the release of season three on March 15.

So, why did Ted Lasso collab on ice cream and not, say, straight-up cookies? Well, beyond finding a way to improve upon the original, we'll let this quote from Ted during season one of the show speak for itself:

"Ice cream's the best. It's kinda like seeing Billy Joel perform live, you know? It never disappoints. It does give me the toots though. The ice cream, not Billy Joel."

So if you're anything like Lasso, take your Lactaid and mark your calendar for March 2, because we have a feeling this flavor will sell out fast.
