These are strange times, indeed. And while we can’t wait for things to return to normal, one surprising benefit of social distancing is that it’s given us more time to work on our cooking skills. Case in point: We finally tackled Ina Garten’s chicken Marbella recipe (it was totally delicious, of course). While we won’t be professional chefs anytime soon, we can still source fresh, seasonal ingredients while supporting our tireless local farmers. From wine and cheese to soup and toilet paper (yes, really), here are nine Hamptons farms offering pick up and delivery right now.
9 Local Farms Offering Pick Up and Delivery to Keep Your Kitchen Fully Stocked
1. Amber Waves Farm
This educational farm owned by kick-ass women farmers Amanda Merrow and Katie Baldwin is open for orders, with pick up available on Tuesdays and Fridays. We will meet at the vineyards again but until then, Wölffer has bottles of wine, gin and cider for all your virtual happy hour needs. 3. Green Thumb Organic Farm
While we might not be able to cook just like Ina, we can shop like her. Our lifestyle muse lists Green Thumb Organic as one of her favorite haunts and with their broad selection of fresh produce, it’s not hard to see why. The organic farm stand has everything from fruits and vegetables to pantry staples like coconut oil to meats and eggs available for pick up every day. They even sell seeds if you’re feeling inspired to create your own vegetable or flower patch.

Out of toilet paper? Round Swamp has you covered. Seriously, the farm known for its delicious fruit pies is selling essentials online for local delivery such as toilet paper, seltzer, OJ and pasta (plus other must-haves like jalapeño cheese dip, fresh vegetables and chicken salad). 6. Mecox Bay Dairy
Creamy, raw-milk cheese pairs perfectly with a glass of Wölffer cider and a good book. Bridgehampton’s Mecox Dairy farm store has cheeses (we’re partial to the Atlantic Mist, their take on Brie) as well as beef, pork, turkey and milk available for call-ahead contact-free pickup. You can also get their farm-fresh products delivered straight to your door on Fridays for a $10 fee.
