From lobster tails on the beach to Michelin-starred dinners at home, these out-of-the-box meal kits will make your summer so much easier (and more delicious).

The 10 Best Restaurants in the Hamptons With Outdoor Seating

1. Big Brunch Box

We love brunch. But we don’t love having to schlep to four different stores in order to create a great spread at home. Well, this clever box solves that problem. Whip up an Insta-worthy brunch with freshly baked bagels from the Bagel Master deli in Syosset, salmon from Acme smoked fish (thinly and expertly sliced so everyone gets their fair share), cream cheese, Everything seasoning and baked goods, starting at $55. Extra thoughtful touch? The mini pack of Tic-Tacs that come with every order. Because no one likes garlic breath. Order by 7 p.m. on Wednesday for Friday delivery.

2. Marea In The Hamptons

When you can’t dine in at your favorite NYC seafood restaurant, bring the fish to you with this Michelin-star level dinner kit for four. The menu changes weekly, but includes appetizers, sides, main dishes and dessert, along with an easy-to-follow guide for how to prepare each item. Previous offerings have featured heirloom tomato and burrata, green bean salad, fresh branzino, potato gratin, asparagus and a seasonal pie. At $450, this dinner doesn’t come cheap, but can you really put a price on fine dining in the comfort of your own home? Orders must be placed Thursday by 5 p.m. and are available for home delivery from Westhampton to Montauk.

3. Grazie

Dinner isn’t complete without something sweet. But you’re on vacation (er, staycation), remember? Now is not the time to attempt to make a homemade raspberry crumble. It is, however, the time to eat one. NYC-based Italian restaurant Grazie is offering a selection of crowd-pleasing dessert boxes, and it’s the sweetest way to feed your family or quarantine pod. Each $175 box includes tiramisu, blondies, brownies, key lime pie, berry crumble and—our favorite—ready-to-bake Nutella S’mores. Designed to serve eight or more, all treats come in a 6-inch by 8-inch tray.

4. Breads Bakery

If you’re going to spend the day soaking up the sun and sand, then you should have an equally gorgeous spread to match (no PB&Js here, please). Our favorite NYC bakery is offering Beach Bundle boxes with three loaves of bread (we’re fans of the challah, but the sourdough is also delicious), four spreads (including hummums, egg salad and labneh), three cakes (if you don’t get the chocolate babka then don’t even bother) and three packaged cookies. Each Beach Bundle costs $150 and includes door-to-door delivery.

5. Organic Krush

So you had a glass (or three) too much wine yesterday. Oops. Get yourself and your quarantine pod back to fighting shape again with a selection of cold-pressed juices from health destination Organic Krush. We’re fans of the carrot, green apple, beet, lemon and ginger blend, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the refreshing choices, available from $60 for six to eight servings. FYI: They also have salads, wraps, sandwiches, acai bowls, soups and gluten-free baked goods. And ordering from here won’t just do your body good. Since COVID-19 upended all our lives, the two female founders have been giving back to the local community by donating healthy meals to hospitals, and 15 percent of sales from their “gourmet to go” division to Bethany House, an organization that focuses on taking care of women and children.

6. Peeko Oysters

Happy hour oysters is a summer highlight, but who says you need to leave home to enjoy all that briny goodness? New Suffolk-based company Peeko Oysters recently launched a home delivery and pickup service, where you can order anywhere from two dozen to ten dozen oysters, as well as a shucking knife (don’t worry, the process is easier than you think). The home delivery service spans Suffolk County, with occasional trips to Rye, Brooklyn and Manhattan (check their website for the latest delivery information).

7. Hamptons Aristocrat

Is it even summer in the Hamptons if you’re not tucking into a lobster tail? This food delivery service creates beautiful beach picnic boxes using ingredients from local farmers markets. Each Lobster Tail box ($65 per person) boasts butter seared lobster tails, mushroom tortellini, kale Caesar salad, dirty corn, watermelon slices, a drink selection (Montauk Beer, anyone?), plus cutlery and napkins. There are also gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and kid-friendly boxes available, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “a day at the beach.”
