The three best things about summer (in no particular order): sunshine, maxi dresses and sipping cocktails outside. Presenting your new warm-weather signature drink, the cucumber gimlet. Best of all, Young Kim, bartender at NYC’s The Flatiron Room, is teaching us to make this refreshing cocktail at home.
What You Need:
- ¾ ounce cucumber puree
- ½ ounce mango puree
- ½ ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce Combier or other orange liqueur
- 1½ ounces gin
Step 1: Combine the cucumber and mango purees with lime juice, orange liqueur and gin in a cocktail shaker.
Step 2: Add ice and shake to your heart's content.
Step 3: Pour your delicious gimlet through a strainer and into a glass. Serve and enjoy.
