Cranberry season is in full swing, but this festive cold-weather cocktail has us viewing these berries in a delicious, new light. Learn how to make a cranberry gin twist, then sip it (and celebrate) all winter long.
What You Need:
- 5 fresh cranberries
- 1 orange peel
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1½ ounces gin
- 1 ounce orange juice
- Tonic water
- Frozen cranberries, for garnish
Step 1: Place the cranberries, orange peel and sugar in a cocktail mixer and muddle with a pestle.
Step 2: Add a few ice cubes to the mixer before pouring in the gin and orange juice.
Step 3: Mix thoroughly.
Step 4: Pour into a glass and top with tonic water. Finish with a few frozen cranberries on a skewer.
