Everything at This New Online Grocery Store Costs $3

Hi, we’re PureWow and we love shopping online. You name something, and we’ve probably bought it and waited five to seven days for it to be delivered to our doorstep. The only problem with online shopping is that we often spend way more than we should. (It’s just so easy to click “add to cart” and “complete purchase.”)

Luckily, overspending is harder to do with Brandless, a new online grocery store of sorts where every single product costs just $3. That includes food products (like quinoa chips, cold-brew coffee and gummy worms), household products (like hand soap and dishwashing liquid), beauty products (like face wash and hand cream) and home products (like plates, bowls and knives).

No, you didn’t misread that. All of Brandless’s offerings are priced absurdly low. The reason? Something it calls BrandTax, or the hidden costs you pay for a national brand. The thinking is that we've been trained to believe these costs increase quality, but they rarely do. By taking the brand name out of the equation, Brandless strives to sell the same quality goods for a fraction of the cost. Which is totally fine with us.

What are you waiting for? That $3 bag of chocolate chip cookie thins (that taste shockingly similar to the significantly pricier Tate’s) is calling your name.
