Your Pre-Baseball Game Plan
Skip the stadium concessions in favor of The Courtyard
You’re meeting friends for the Giants game and need a pre-baseball plan of attack. Skip the rowdy crowds at MoMo’s and avoid overpriced stadium concessions by hitting up The Courtyard by Off the Grid.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., this permanent food-truck lot offers a much cooler alternative before the first pitch. It’s tucked away behind AT&T Park, just across the Third Street Bridge. We’ve mapped out the perfect game plan.
Grab a pint (or two) at Anchor Brewing’s beer garden, which sells beer for $3 to $5 less than inside AT&T Park. We recommend the light, refreshing California Lager.
Order the wagyu beef brisket with smoked potato salad from the beer garden’s grill, or bring in a rotisserie chicken salad sandwich (with a spicy jalapeño kick) from Proposition Chicken’s truck around the corner.
Challenge your friends to a round of cornhole in The Courtyard’s parklet to show off your athleticism.
Blow off the Giants Dugout Store and stop at 3 Fish Studios’ tiny outpost, where you can purchase a hand-designed world-champions print. You are a devoted fan, after all.
