Reasons we love Wölffer Estate Vineyard: 1. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. 2. The wines have won numerous awards (and for good reason). 3. Siblings and co-owners Marc and Joey Wölffer have opened Wölffer Kitchen in Sag Harbor, the first winery-owned restaurant in the Hamptons (and Long Island). 

While artisanal wine is the focus here, beer, hard ciders and all major spirits are also available to complement the Mediterranean-influenced eats. Ingredients are locally sourced, with an eye on the fresh and seasonal, so expect an ever-changing menu with lots of seafood offerings (standouts include striped bass served with a green-olive salsa verde and tarragon-citrus butter scallops).

As of now, Wölffer Kitchen, which is open seven days a week year-round, serves dinner only, but lunch and brunch menus are coming soon.
