But what’s the next foodie adventure?
No doubt it's Yard House, a newly opened beer hall in Addison that offers more than a hundred draft different types of draft beers (including local Texas favorites like Deep Ellum, Lakewood and Real Ale), as well as a larger-than-life food menu.
For starters, check out the truffle pommes frites (a.k.a. bistro fries), which have a dusting of Parmesan cheese and a not-too-overwhelming truffle oil topping (we recommend washing them down with a pint of Breckenridge Agave Wheat.)
Yard House’s main dining menu is vast, and we love the fact that it offers a huge selection of non-meat dishes that instead contain Gardein (a concoction of soy, wheat, pea proteins, vegetables and ancient grains). Think Gardein Thai salad, a Gardein rice bowl, and even Gardein wings.
Another reason to jump for joy over Yard House’s menu? It has a great selection of under-600-calorie items (including under-500-calorie cocktails). So you can feel a little better about ordering that second round.
