The Camp That Teaches You the Art of Grilling

You might be familiar with Belcampo Meat Company, the farm, processing plant and butcher shop known for its sinfully delicious organic and humanely raised meat. But you probably didn?t know that it's ready and waiting to school you in the art of grilling. 

Next month, Belcampo is hosting a Meat Camp--an all-inclusive three-night cooking intensive--for ladies only.

You?ll kick off the morning with yoga or boot camp. In the afternoon, you?ll learn about meat and wood-fire cookery in workshops led by Belcampo?s head honchos, Anya Fernald and Bronwen Hanna-Korpi (both women, we might add). The duo will teach you about knife skills, meat cuts and sausage making as well as techniques for grilling lamb, pork chops and bone-in rib steaks.

At night, expect gourmet family-style meals and glamping at the base of Mount Shasta in luxury tents (with private bathrooms) pitched on the 20,000-acre farm where heritage-breed animals roam free.

The camp will cost you a pretty penny ($3,750), but it?s a small price to pay for permanent bragging rights at every dude-centric barbecue.
