Summer Camp for Adults Comes to Chicago
Don't worry, you'll make friends.

We’ve regressed, and we love it. We recently got back into coloring, popsicles are our favorite snack and now we’re signing up for summer camp like we’re nine again.

Only this time, there will be booze.

For the past two summers, Camp No Counselors has staged activity-filled getaways for grown-ups in rustic settings outside New York, Philly and L.A. This year the concept is coming to Delton, a small town about three hours from Chicago, near the Wisconsin Dells.

Sign up for the June 4 to 7 session and you’ll be hanging out on the 600-acre, Parent Trap-esque campus with plenty of kayaking, archery, softball fields, a zip line and rock climbing. Yes, there are bunk beds--nice ones--and the cabins are coed. (Last-minute registration is still available for $525 a person.)

Every morning starts with Bloody Marys and mimosas. During a typical day you’ll weave friendship bracelets, drink wine, play dodgeball and dance until 2 a.m. at an ’80s-themed dance party.

Need a break from all that structured fun? “Sunbathing” is also considered a legitimate way to pass an afternoon at camp.
