OK, so we’re totally not carb-haters over here, but our minds were kinda blown when we saw the innovative steps the Japanese fast-food chain Mos Burger has taken to to think outside the bun.

For example: Replacing the bread with the top and bottom halves of an extra large tomato.

The result? A burger--called the Tomani--that clocks in at just 227 calories.

As good as toasted sesame? Probably a not. As easy to eat as a quarter-pounder with cheese? Unlikely. But, hey, it is tomato-slash-swimsuit season, and this delicious recipe seems like it would take two seconds to replicate at home.
