How to Drink Champagne from the Bottle...Like a Lady
Diane Kruger taught us
Birthdays. Bachelorettes. Brunch. Pretty much any occasion is improved with a little bubbly. But the latest trend in entertaining is to ditch the boring old flute--and sip straight from the (mini) bottle. Here, let us explain.
Remember when the A/C gave out at this year's Golden Globes? (That's why everyone on TV looked so sweaty.) Manners be damned, our spirit animal Diane Kruger perched herself on a banquette to down a cold one. Except, that wasn't beer...
Nope, it was a mini Champagne bottle with a hilarious little attachment.
Turns out, Moët & Chandon has given these out at the last several Golden Globes for its charitable initiative "Toast for a Cause." But unfortunately the little sippers are slightly hard to come by. If you're anything like us, that only makes you want them at your next shindig even more.
For Valentine's Day, Chandon offered a special package of mini Rosé with a similar spout. They sold out quickly online, but we hear you can call the Chandon winery's retail shop (888-242-6366, extension 3) and have them ship you some.
Yes, it's a cheesy piece of marketing plastic. But it begs the question: How is Bed Bath & Beyond not on this already???
