Yeah, yeah, the season is about to come to a close. But that isn’t stopping the East End’s dining scene from expanding. The latest addition: North Sea Tavern & Raw’r Bar. Here’s what you need to know about this new seafood joint (happy-hour deals included).

Based entirely on the haul from local farmers and fishermen (aka “boat-to-table” fare), the menu changes weekly. You’ll find innovative twists on familiar dishes, such as watermelon gazpacho, fried skate tacos with oysters and pickled blueberry relish, and seared tuna baos with gooseberry five-spice aioli.

We recommend grabbing a seat (either indoors or out on the front or back patio) for the $1 oyster happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. But if you can’t tear yourself away from the water, North Sea also offers a picnic basket delivery option.

Raw-bar deliveries ($50 minimum) arrive in a basket filled with ice to keep seafood fresh and a complimentary shucker, while sandwiches and other items arrive in a regular basket. Plus, they include all utensils, plates and a plastic tablecloth.
