Guys, You’ll Soon Be Able to Drink Wine at Your Local Barnes & Noble
’Cause drinking coffee at a bookstore is so 1994
Huge news for bookworms who also love the occasional glass of chilled rosé: Barnes and Noble just announced they’re going to sell beer and wine to customers while they shop.
Yep, beginning this fall, four stores--located in Eastchester, New York, Edina, Minnesota, Folsom, California and Loudon, Virginia--will test the concept, which includes an expanded restaurant menu in addition to delicioius vino and beer.
Will we give up shopping on Amazon? Probably not. Will we move all future book club meetings to Barnes & Noble? If sauv blanc is on the menu, the answer is a very definite yes.
