Raise your hand if you'd rather be on a beach right now, cocktail in hand? Cool. Us, too. Here are three ways to use coconut for a tropical-inspired drink, courtesy of Tiki No bar in North Hollywood.


Coconut Water

Mix yourself a coconut mojito, made with coconut rum (like Cruzan from St. Croix), coconut water (like Harmless Harvest), fresh mint and lime.


Cream of Coconut

Whip up a piña colada using light rum, pineapple juice and cream of coconut (Coco Lopez is best for drinks), topped with fresh pineapple.


Coconut Shell

This one’s a little less practical, but nothing says tropical like a cocktail served in a hollowed-out coconut shell. You can even have a bunch shipped whole from Palm Beach.
