Tracee Ellis Ross Rocks Head-to-Toe Balenciaga in One of Her Edgiest Looks Yet

Prepare the runway, because Tracee Ells Ross is bringing her fashion A game in one of her fiercest looks yet.

The Black-ish actress, 49, recently gave fans a glimpse of her stunning ensemble on Instagram by sharing a series of pics and behind-the-scenes videos from this year's People's Choice Awards. The post features elegant shots of Ross posing in a gorgeous black jumpsuit with matching patent leather boots—complete with a glass of wine in hand. In the caption, she wrote, "BALENCIAGA LOVER(s) ~ head to toe #pcas."

The High Note star's Balenciaga jumpsuit features cargo pant pockets and a plunging V-neck with a black zipper accent. To complete the look, she wore a large, bow-shaped crystal necklace and matching bow-shaped earrings.

Per usual, Ross showcased her quirky side with some funny antics, including one clip of herself modeling her foot above the sink. Another video shows the actress retouching her makeup, while she practices her greeting in the backstage mirror. In the comments, Kerry Washington simply wrote, "Obsessed," and another fan said, "It’s the earrings and necklace for me. Yesss."

If you're feeling inspired to copy the look, we did some sleuthing and found a similar jumpsuit design at Ripley Rader, now available for $220. You can pair it with Jessica Simpson's Black Alliye Bootie, offered at Nordstrom for $54, then add a bit of glamour with a bow pendant necklace and silver bow earrings—each just $20 at Amazon.

At this year's awards ceremony, Ross presented the Fashion Icon Award to Kim Kardashian, who also sported a black Balenciaga outfit with geometric sunglasses. And as the former Fashion Icon winner passed the torch, she said, "From one Balenciaga-lover to another."

When Ross won her award in 2020, she encouraged listeners to use fashion as a vehicle for change. In her acceptance speech, she said, "Use fashion as an entrance. Let your clothes be your superhero cape, allowing you to the best you you can be. Activate the clothes through your joy and commitment to the world that you want to see. It doesn't matter if you wear black tie or a Black Lives Matter T-shirt, but suit up and show up, because our action creates our destiny, our joy creates space for our freedom."

Spoken like a true fashion queen.
