Queen Letizia of Spain Had a Twinning Moment With Daughter Princess Leonor in a $40 Dress
While attending a meeting at the headquarters of the UNICEF Spanish Committee, the 49-year-old royal copied a look worn by her daughter, Princess Leonor, just last month. What's more, the dress is from an affordable Spanish brand, Dándara, and is currently on sale for €40 (about $41).
16-year-old Leonor worn the red-patterned shirtdress to attend the the María Pagés performance at the Teatros de El Canal on June 25 and styled it with chic ankle-strap wedges and a coordinating beige crossbody bag. Mom Letizia went for a surprisingly similar ensemble, swapping out the crossbody and adding her own wrap-up brown espadrille wedges.
Queen Letizia is no stranger to affordable fashion, having worn pieces by Mango and Zara to multiple functions in the past. She's also no stranger to twinning—back in May, the Queen attended a meeting for the Royal Board on Disability Council, where she presented the Reina Letizia 2021 Awards, one of which went to a woman wearing the exact same dress as the royal herself. Even more relatably, the dress cost just £60 (around $64).
It’s nice to see her passing on her impeccable, relatable fashion sense to her daughter. Now, we just want to know whether they each own the same frock or if one has been sneaking into the other’s wardrobe recently!
