Kerry Washington is embracing the floral look and she doesn't care whether it's original or not.
The Scandal star showed off a flowery, citrus-colored outfit on Instagram, quoting The Devil Wears Prada along the way. While Washington posed among some bright pink flowers, she said, "Florals? For Spring. Groundbreaking. (said in my best #MerylStreep voice. I miss my @promnetflix nemesis!)."
In the slideshow, Washington blends right into her garden with her head-to-toe floral look. The combo is all about the warm colors, with a yellow smocked-waist dress in Liberty Carline rose print from J. Crew (that is currently selling for $228). She pairs the dress with an orange sunflower headband from Autumn Adeigbo that you can buy here for $95.
While the 44-year-old actress gives us her best modeling poses, she smells the roses (literally) and receives a stunning natural glow from the sun.
Although Meryl Streep doesn't have an Instagram, plenty of others showed their approval for Washington's outfit. The designer of her headband, Autumn Adeigbo, wrote, "Gorgeous Kerry." One user responded to the Miranda Priestley quote, saying, "Florals are always a YES!" Another asked, "How are you this stunning ALL THE TIME?"
Even though Kerry Washington took a break from social media last month, we're glad to see that she's back and showing off her best 'fits.
