Who Needs NYFW When You’ve Got Katie Holmes Street Style? Here’s How to Copy Her Latest Look

Katie Holmes has always been a master of sporting subtle but somehow still cutting-edge style. So, while New York Fashion Week may have just taken place, we found ourselves focusing instead on the Dawson's Creek alum and her latest street style ensemble.

The 44-year-old star was spotted leaving rehearsals for her new off-Broadway play, The Wanderers. While strolling the streets of NYC, Holmes was seen in a simple black-and-white look, with a black ribbed midi dress from Everlane ($168), as well as a sandstone-colored corduroy shirt jacket from the brand (which is currently on sale for $104).

As you can see, Holmes rolled up the sleeves of the corduroy outerwear, pulling off an effortlessly-cool art teacher vibe that we will desperately be trying to emulate. Then, she accessorized with what appears to be a pair of black Westward Leaning shades, and she rounded everything out with ruched knee-high boots (similar to this pair from Stuart Weitzman).

If there's one thing about Holmes it's that she loves a good black-and-white combo. This past fall, when the Logan Lucky star attended Paris Fashion Week, she wore a white knitted Chloé dress paired with black Oxford shoes and a black blazer.

Holmes pulled off the same two-tone trick back in 2021, when she showed up to a NYFW show in a ruched halter dress from Christopher Esber, which featured saucy cutouts and a bikini-esque top.

The Alone Together director added a matching button-up on top, but then she contrasted the entire ’fit with bright white sneakers.
