From monochromatic ensembles to flattering dresses, Kate Middleton always delivers the best fashion looks. So it's only fitting that the Princess of Wales would step out in one of her most memorable outfits yet—and it just might hold a special meaning.
On Thursday, the 41-year-old princess visited the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood in Nuneaton to meet with health professionals, and she donned a Petra Silk Maxi Shirt Dress, featuring a green-and-white leopard print.
The choice of color was likely a thoughtful tribute to the sixth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower tragedy on June 14. The color green has been used to honor the anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire. (On Twitter, Princess Catherine and Prince William tweeted a sole green heart in remembrance of the tragedy.)
Following the engagement, the princess shared a few highlights on Instagram, where she's seen interacting with the children. She wrote, "Lovely chatting with the wonderful health visitors and mums playing a part in creating a nurturing environment for so many children and parents at the Riversley Park Children's Centre in Nuneaton. Health Visitors are such an important support for new parents from pregnancy through to children starting school."
She added, "It was also great to hear how @earlychildhood trials of the Alarm Distress Baby Scale are going, reminding us how important innovation is in #ShapingUs."
The princess completed the outfit with a pair of white leather Jimmy Choos and green amethyst pear drop earrings. And naturally, we're taking a few pages out of her style book.
