Chances are, if you’ve been living in Barbie’s world for any amount of time this summer, you’ve probably noticed a few things, like the Toy Story parallels and all the clues pointing to Barbie 2. Maybe you’ve cried over America Ferrara’s touching (and piercingly accurate) monologue, have finally decided to ditch your “sorry” reflex or have taken to all the drama with glee. Within all the buzz, though, is one thing that’s gone viral in the fashion world: Barbie director Greta Gerwig’s bubble-gum pink jumpsuit. It racked up a cool 608,000 likes when first shared to the movie’s Instagram account and has been popping up in discover pages ever since. Unlike many clothes worn by celebrities, Gerwig’s set uniform is surprisingly...reasonable. Here’s everything you need to know about her Pistola Grover Field Suit ($168).

The photos, which were originally snapped by Gerwig’s assistant, Rob Harris, show Gerwig and crew on the set of Barbie Land in Leavesden, England, where most of the film was shot. The images capture her posing with Ryan Gosling, chatting with Rhea Perlman and reviewing footage while wearing the Pistola Grover Field Suit in flamingo pink.
While it may seem that Gerwig was just keeping in the Barbie style and making it fun with an easy one-piece outfit, the director was actually quite on brand. The plastic icon herself has, of course, a jumpsuit in her own repertoire, albeit with wide-leg pants, a belt and three-quarter sleeves. The ankle-length, cotton utility jumpsuit worn by Gerwig has short sleeves, notched lapels and a row of buttons to close. There are two breast pockets and two generous pant pockets. At the waist there are adjustable button straps that can be used to create a more fitted look—otherwise, the jumpsuit has a fairly relaxed fit. The brand and this editor recommend sizing down if you’re not a fan of an oversized look.
If you love the style but aren’t ready to fully commit yourself to Barbiecore, the Grover comes in many other colors, including Sesame (beige), Margarita (lime green), Merlot, Midnight Honor (deep navy) and fuchsia. Its sister style is the Parker Romper, which is essentially the same cut but as shorts.
Gerwig seems to be a mega-fan of jumpsuits in general, having been also photographed on set in a dark navy Alex Mill Standard Jumpsuit ($215). Safe to say, we want them all.
