There are a few things I truly love in life but finding a pair of jeans that fit like a dream and don’t cost an arm and leg? That’s a huge win in my book.

And while I love my leggings and joggers, something about slipping on a pair of jeans with a white tee and hi-top Converse makes it so much easier to pretend I have my life together while running errands.

My problem is finding that ideal, crafted-by-the-hands-of-an-artist pair. Because yes, nothing is better than those jeans that feel like butter, but nothing is worse than a pair that makes it impossible to breathe because the waistband is having an identity crisis and behaving more like a corset.

So, imagine my pure excitement when I found these gems while casually perusing the clothing section at Target, as one does and throwing them into my cart without a second thought because why the heck not? When I went home and tried them on I realized these were no ordinary jeans and my life was instantly upgraded. These babies fit perfectly, hugging my bum and waist in a way that isn’t too tight or too loose, but just right (I have since deemed them my Goldilock Jeans). What truly sold me is the way that they fit my legs. I constantly battle with finding any straight style pants that don’t have legs so loose I’m swimming in them or give me that dreaded stomach pouch that makes it look like I’m wearing a diaper and these do neither. Instead, they have that vintage fit and feel that is way more difficult to find than it should be.

I’ve worn these everywhere from the grocery store to an art gallery and can attest that they have stayed the coziest pair of jeans I own. They have gone through multiple wash cycles and their fit hasn’t changed nor has the denim worn down. I’ve taken more naps than I’d like to admit in these and have zero complaints. I’ve since gone right back to Target and snagged them in every other wash available. Suffice to say, I’m obsessed and I know you will be too.

Oh, and did I mention the best part? They’re $30.
