We almost didn't recognize these Bridgerton stars without their Regency-era costumes.

At the British Academy Television Awards this past weekend, the cast members of Bridgerton opted for something a little different from powdered wigs and empire waists. While there weren't any appearances from leads Phoebe Dynevor or Regé-Jean Page, we did get to see stars Nicola Coughlan (who plays Penelope Featherington) and Golda Rosheuvel (who reigns as Queen Charlotte) make a splash on the red carpet.

In an evening full of iconic looks, these Bridgerton ladies would've been all the talk of a Lady Whistledown newsletter.

Coughlan opted for a bold color, with an orange custom design from Valentino. The conical gown was paired with hot pink pumps, and the actress added an extra dash of color with blue eyeshadow.

She shared the look on her Instagram account, saying, “Thank you so much @pppiccioli for designing this incredible gown for me for @bafta and your wonderful atelier @maisonvalentino for creating it, it truly is a dream come true. But Coughlan wasn't the only one catching eyes at the awards. Her co-star, the ever-commanding Golda Rosheuvel, brought her own fashion showstopper.

Rosheuvel sported an Alice in Wonderland-inspired look, styled by Georgia Medley. The gown, courtesy of Simone Rocha, featured black tulle layered over a white button-up shirt, along with a skirt embroidered with red and white roses. She also donned some Gotcha ear climber earrings from Completed Works.

The actress shared a selfie with her co-star on Instagram, saying, “Rockin @bafta with my beautiful Awesome co-star @nicolacoughlan ! Such an honour to be presenting with you. Love you all day every day. @bridgertonnetflix @bafta #virginmediabaftas.”

We hope to see these Bridgerton women on red carpets for many more years to come.
