Stickers for Grown-Ups
Give your accessories a sense of humor
We adore those cheeky Brits--they’re always reminding us not to take things like status bags too seriously.
Take London-based designer Anya Hindmarch. Her gorgeous bags sell for thousands, but she makes them funny by decorating them with pop-culture references like Tony the Tiger and quotes like “I love it! What is it?”
Already have a bag--or even a phone case--that you love and wanna infuse it with a little Hindmarch-style wit?
Go to the Anya Hindmarch pop-up shop at Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue this Wednesday. A collection of the designer’s leather stickers will be for sale--everything from hashtags and letters to a classic yellow smiley face ($55 to $70 each).
Peel off the adhesive backing and place a sticker anywhere you want--just make sure you really like it, because it’s there to stay.
