Evening gowns for goddesses
For those nights when you want to make a statement but have nothing to wear, may we suggest a simple silk dress?
That?s the allure of the new label MAID by Yifat Oren, a sexy party collection from Los Angeles designer Rory Beca.
The line consists of five sleek silk dresses in five flattering hues (champagne, blush pink, magenta, royal blue and black), all made of supersoft double silk georgette.
The floor-length dresses ($267 to $297) range in style from slip dresses with adjustable straps (as comfy as a nightgown) to V-neck designs with short sleeves--because sometimes you don?t want to bare your upper arms.
The one teensy-tiny secret? Even though the entire collection is dinner-party-ready, it was (surprise!) designed for bridesmaids. In fact, the dresses graced the aisle this year when Victoria?s Secret model Behati Prinsloo married Maroon Five frontman Adam Levine.
We won?t tell if you won?t.
