Once again, you might as well call this the Summer of Weddings. How do you even know this many people who aren’t already married?
And since there’s no way you’re buying a new dress for every single celebration of love, it’s a good thing a Rent the Runway boutique just opened in Chicago.
The company is hugely popular for its online service that lets you borrow high-fashion dresses from designers like Vera Wang and Narciso Rodriguez (in lots of sizes) for four to eight days. It costs much less than buying off the rack--think $50 to wear a $2,000 frock--and is a great excuse to try out new and trendier styles.
At the physical boutique, you can either walk in and browse for free or pay a $25 fee for a personal stylist to spend 45 minutes helping you find the exact look you’re dreaming of.
Here, a few of our favorite dresses, all available to rent right now.
