What to know: Through this Thursday, the Grove hosts a pop-up shop overflowing with Nicole Richie’s boho-cool designs.

What to buy: Silk palazzo pants ($295) are our favorite warm-weather piece. They’re completely of-the-moment, yet über-comfortable, and come in burnt orange and black.

What to know: This cult French label has opened a minimalist home in Old Town Pasadena.

What to buy: Poly-blend Bermuda shorts. (You read that right.) This pair is specially designed to swing a bit when you walk and look neat with a silk jacket and heels or cute with sneakers and a polo shirt.

What to know: Surfboards and wet suits share space with sportswear at the surf brand’s newest Silverlake location.

What to know: Blond wood, white walls and a rear-store chill-out area are the vibe at the French brand’s new Silverlake location. 

What to buy: It takes a lot of design know-how to make a retro-cut garment that we want to wear, and A.P.C. can always be counted on for that. We’re loving the ’70s vibe of this denim popover, now on sale ($175).
