Fall Work Outfits to Get You Through the Week

“I have no idea what to wear today” is a phrase you say way more often than you should. Especially when a new season of trends crops up and last year’s clothes start feeling a bit uninspired. Here are five new outfit ideas that’ll put some confidence back into your morning routine.

Monday: Striped Turtleneck + Paper Bag Waist Trousers

Not only does this style look like you picked it up in Paris (très chic, madame) but it’s perfect for creating (or defining) curves in all the right places.

Tuesday: Bell-sleeve Blouse + Lattice Pencil Skirt

Statement sleeves are one of the best new trends—they’re fun, stylish and totally easy to wear. Incorporate them into your week with an otherwise simple blouse, and pair it with a patterned pencil skirt. If you’re looking at a 75-degree day, finish the look with strappy sandals. If you’re warding off a chill, black tights and tall suede boots are a good match.

Wednesday: Sock Booties + Wrap Skirt

Stretchy, soft and warm around the ankles, sock booties are everything you could want in a fall shoe (they’re also insufferably cool). Pick up a pair in black suede for the office, and swap your pencil skirt for a gray wrap.

Thursday: Pink + Burgundy

If there’s one color combo we’re currently obsessing over, it’s pink and red. But the office is more subdued, so we’re slotting in a wine-stained hue. Gussy it up for work by rocking said colors on a bow blouse and wide-leg pants.

Friday: Black Dress + Oversized Blazer

Blazers are the go-to toppers this fall, whether you’re grinding through morning meetings or catching up with friends over drinks. A black sheath underneath is another transitional item that meets both standards.
