An app that acts like a (digital) personal assistant
Life is exhausting--studies say we make about 35,000 decisions every day. So it goes without saying that we could all benefit from a personal assistant.
For that, there’s EasilyDo.
The productivity app, whose team runs algorithms from their Mountain View office, learns everything about you based on data in your phone so that you don’t forget Grandma’s birthday, next week’s pitch meeting or your upcoming dentist appointment ever again.
Here’s how it works: EasilyDo completes billions of searches on your phone and brings simple, actionable tasks to your attention. Your best friend’s info that appears in your contacts list as eight different entries? EasilyDo merges the duplicates for you. The meeting you have downtown in 15 minutes? The app automatically pulls up directions to get you there. Packing for tomorrow’s trip to Miami? You’ll get an automatic weather alert so you know what to take.
Super-users can opt for the newly released premium service ($50 a year), which automatically adds contacts to your address book, streams email in real time like text messages and pings you with important travel alerts.
Now that you have all this extra time on your hands, you’ll be able to tackle the important things in life...like catching up on Season 2 of House of Cards.
