We know, we know--we’re supposed to stay focused and in the moment when we’re in half moon pose. But sometimes the songs certain teachers play are so catchy, our mind starts to wander....

Who sings this? I wish I could Shazam it right now!

So we went to a few of our favorite classes and asked the yogis--slash DJs--in charge to share some of their go-to jams. Here’s a breakdown of where to go to hear what:

The teacher: Ellie Bowman
The class: The Pad Studios, Monday, 6:15 and 7:45 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 6:30 a.m. 1690 Union St.
What we love to listen to: The energizing indie tunes
Why it rocks: Bowman, a former dancer, smoothly flows from pose to pose in choreographed routines set to bands like Lykke Li and Delta Spirit.

The teacher: Lindsay Jean Thomson
The class: International Orange, Tuesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. 2044 Fillmore St.
What we love to listen to: The mellow rock jams
Why it rocks: Thomson emphasizes alignment and breath, matching her gentle prompts to songs by Willie Nelson and the Lumineers.

The teacher: Anna Hughes
The class: Aha Yoga, Tuesday and Thursday, 6:15 p.m. 1892 Union St.
What we love to listen to: The R&B and reggae remixes
Why it rocks: Hughes’s vinyasa classes will leave you pumped and sweaty (the studio is heated) in the best way possible. She powers through poses to remixes of "No Diggity" and "Bag Lady."
