Nibbol lets you find and book vet services online
It won't hurt. We promise.

Whoops. You just checked your calendar and noticed that Sparky hasn?t been to the vet in over a year. And let?s face it: Sparky can?t exactly speak up to let you know he?s overdue for an appointment.

Nibbol, which launched earlier this year, lets you schedule wellness checkups and vaccinations online with just a few clicks.

Here?s how it works: Specify whether you?re booking for a dog or cat (sorry, no hamster docs yet), choose checkup or vaccination and type in your location. The site will then search its database of 30-plus Bay Area veterinarians and pull up available appointments (many of which are same-day). You can sort the results by price, location and doctor popularity. Plus, each listing shows appointment lengths and estimated wait times (nobody wants a line of yowling cats).

Once you?ve decided, book your appointment and break out the crate.

As for the cost, 30-minute appointments run as little as $30 and include a complete physical, blood work and parasite test. And no payment info is required to schedule your visit.

What?s that? Sparky just barked a thank-you.
