A storage system for your extra baggage
From gym clothes to laptops to impulsive shopping purchases, we're constantly lugging around something throughout the day--and nothing ruins an outfit like excess baggage.
Finally, we've found a remedy for our aching arms: Cubby, an innovative new storage system that picks up, watches and then returns your personal belongings.
Here's how it works: Walk into Cubby's cozy midtown storeroom and drop off your things, or call them to arrange for a personal courier to pick up your goods. (Daily rates are $5 for a small bag and $8 for a large one.) Cubby staff will keep a close eye on your belongings so you can go about your day without feeling like a bag lady. Imagine having a place to store your shopping bags or somewhere to keep your bulky briefcase so you can hit the town after work donning that adorable clutch. We think it's a godsend, too.
You can collect your items before midnight or have a courier deliver them to a specific location ($10 for Manhattan drop-offs; $40 for outer-borough neighborhoods). Cubby will even make deliveries to LaGuardia ($55), Newark and JFK airports ($75).
If only we got the same respect from our closets.
